Since 1898
A Legacy of Excellence
Founded in 1898, initially known as Bury & District Referees, the Association has stood as a foundation for referees in the North Manchester area for over a century. The Association, previously Bury & North Manchester, is now known as Bury & Rochdale Referees' Association after a merger was agreed between BNMRA and Rochdale Referees.

We are proud to be known as the local Referees' Association, supporting referees on their officiating journey in Greater Manchester and Lancashire.
