About the event
Taking place on Thursday 3 September, Peter will lead a session focused on concentration and composure — two qualities that can have a major influence on decision-making, match control and overall performance.
Concentration and composure
Referees need to stay switched on from the first whistle to the last, often while managing pressure, difficult decisions and rapidly changing situations.
Peter will share his experience and insight into maintaining concentration throughout a match, staying composed when pressure increases, and responding effectively when a game presents its most demanding moments.
The session will give referees at all stages of their journey the opportunity to consider how they can strengthen these skills and apply them within their own matches.
